The pair meet up with disastrous consequences in the mountains, when it appears there is no ice. Meanwhile, Henrys ability to curb the potential epidemic is failing. As the fever spreads from different quarters, Henry is hard pressed to find the real source of the disease. This is book number three of a continuing series.
