At night, Vera, whose brother recently passed away, visits Syl, a magical creature who has the power to tell stories that reframe and thereby help heal the trauma of the past. In this dreamlike story about loss and acceptance, Syl, in a redemptive act, helps the young girl remember her brother as he was when he was alive. A stunning testament to the transcendence of imagination and the power of storytelling, this is our sixth book from Norwegian illustrator Øyvind Torseter.
