Willet Marsden is the last daughter of the Northumberland Nine to marry. But her London debut was a dismal failure. Staring down the barrel of another season, Willa decides to take her fate into her own hands. When Willa’s travel plans are hijacked by highwaymen, a daring stranger in a knights helmet rescues her. But her mysterious hero is injured, and now it’s Willa’s turn to rescue him. She’s dubbed him Lord Knightly, and though gravely hurt, he must protect her at all cost. His wound prevents the helmet from being removed, and worse still, he’s lost his memory. Keeping her safe and returning her to her family is his only mission, but he craves more. They must depend on each other, masquerading as husband and wife, and looking for clues to unearth his identity. But pretending blurs the lines of propriety, and the attraction between them burns hotter than the truth. When the helmet comes off, who will be underneath? Is he one of the highwaymen? A married gentleman? A complete stranger? His memory may be the key to happily ever after…or it could tear them apart forever. Author
Dayna Quince was only fourteen when she developed a serious addiction to romance novels. What began as an innocent desire to read became an all-out obsession with the romance genre. She gave book reports on romance novels, got in trouble for reading during lectures, and would rather spend her time reading than attending high school parties. After all, high school boys could not compete with the likes of Stephanie Laurens' Devil Cynster. After getting her first job, her addiction only got worse. She now had her own money to spend and a car to get to Barnes and Noble as frequently as she wanted. She managed to maintain a somewhat normal life, marrying her high school boyfriend, who was aware he was competing with fictional men for her attention. She soon began writing her own romance novels, inspired by her love for all things romance. Dayna and her family live in Southern California with their two children and three fur babies. She is happiest at home, where she can be with her family and write to her heart’s content. Also published under Ella J. Quince and D.L. Rose.
