Humans are not at the top of the food chain anymore. After the Revelation, priest academies and stations were put into place to help us defend ourselves from the vampires that rose. But their numbers grew, changing any human insight to complete their reign. Pushed towards the city’s outskirts, the Ashbourne citizens have lost all hope. Crime and violence wreak havoc, and that’s where the vampires like to feed. With Ashbourne’s people forced to protect themselves from the vampires, they stopped trying to become the people that won’t save them. The Forsaken Oracles. Until me. The Oracle Academy is up in flames. During a night of making cookies for a higher-ranked Oracle, I am faced with my only friend exploding at the gates, letting in vampires. Flooding the academy, they are only looking for one person. Spectre. Will he reveal himself just to save the students of the academy? Or will he stay hidden like he needs to complete his mission? Adding fuel to this fire, I find out that there's an enemy among the mix of a vampire pretending to be one of us.
