The Family Matters MEGA Summit, held in May 2023, was an international event addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities faced by families in the modern world. Dr. Ali Lankerani brought together experts in parenting, health, child development, finance, education, and relationships. This book includes messages from those talks in chapter form from many of the summit experts, including eight youth ages 10-16, from varied cultures.
Authors

Kathy Motlagh is the writer and creative force behind the Eutopia book series and products, and managing director of Think Virtues. Motlagh, a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, has taught art at the Montessori School of North Hoffman for the past twelve years and been an active board member of the school since its inception twenty years ago. Motlagh’s business experience includes eighteen years in the mortgage banking industry, where she has been featured in business publications as one of the top female financiers in the country. A recipient of many business awards and accolades, she has helped over two thousand families realize their home buying dreams. Motlagh resides in Chicago and involves her family, including her six and seven-year-old sons, in community service and fund raising activities for many non-profit organizations and causes.

Lisa Luciano’s work as a director/producer in television production received national recognition for excellence in educational programming. She is the author of a non-fiction book about using technology in the classroom, has had a documentary script produced and has now written her first young adult novel. Her non-fiction pieces have also won numerous awards. A childhood dream of being a sports reporter was fulfilled when she covered figure skating for the New York Times and International Skating Magazine. She taught English Language Arts and Technology to students in grades 6-12 for 40 years and imost recently worked as a Library Media Specialist. Born and raised in New York, she now resides in Connecticut. Her passion (besides writing) outside of the classroom is martial arts. She is a 4th Dan black belt Tae Kwon Do Master/Instructor as well as a black belt in Hapkido.
