The Secret Journal of Doctor Demagol is set in 3964 and 3963 BBY, beginning weeks before the surprise attack by the Mandalorians on the Republic. The journal chronicles the events of Volumes 1 through 9 of Dark Horse Comics' Knights of the Old Republic. It follows Antos Wyrick as he journals his events via a helmet recorder in his Mandalorian helmet as Demagol, then, eventually in the helmet of Rohlan Dyre after Demagol assumes his identity. The events encompassed in the memoirs begin around the time the Mandalorians acquired the Flashpoint Stellar Research Station and come to an end immediately after Demagol is discovered. The last entry is recorded by Rohlan Dyre himself who had just discovered Antos' treachery.
