May Day
2020
If the murderer you’re tracking is a vampire, then you want a vampire detective. Just maybe not this one.
It’s not that Jack Valentine is bad at her job. The youngest member of Oxford’s Seekers has an impressive track record, but she also has an impressive grudge against the local baron, Killian Drake.
When a human turns up dead on May Morning, she’s determined to pin the murder on Drake. The problem is that none of the evidence points to him. Instead, it leads Jack into a web of conspiracy involving the most powerful people in the country, people to whom Jack has no access. But she knows someone who does.
To get to the truth, Jack will have to partner up with her worst enemy. As long as she can keep her cool, Drake will point her to the ringleaders, she’ll find the murderer and no one else will have to die.
Body bags on standby.

Judgement Day
2021
Vampires don't get happily ever afters.
Jack Valentine finally has her shit together. She has a great job, great friends (well, one at least) and a girlfriend whom she loves, even if she can't work up the courage to tell her that yet. Unfortunately, she also has an archnemesis who's about to punish her crimes in the worst possible way: by making her spend time with him.
Which she could cope with, maybe, if she didn't have problems at work as well. When the body of a human judge is found in a locked library, there's no denying that she was murdered by one of the Silver – by a vampire – and the evidence points worryingly close to home. If that wasn't bad enough, some of Jack's least favourite people are opening a new blood bar in Oxford with questionable motives. For Jack and her team, it's becoming increasingly hard to separate allies from enemies.
With conspiracies on every side, the simmering tensions in Silver society are about to come to a head. As usual, Jack intends to be right in the middle of it. She does like it when things get messy.
Judgement Day is the second book in Josie Jaffrey’s Seekers series, an urban fantasy series set in Oxford, England.

Blood Brothers
2021
Two vampires. One heist.
Alistair is a washed-up drunk. He's been rejected from the Solis Invicti, he's dejected from that failure, and – to add insult to injury – he's just been ejected from his local pub.
Then a Silver named Adewale comes to him with a proposition: steal the dagger that belongs to the leader of the Solis Invicti, and bargain their way into the Silver's most elite fighting force.
There's only one problem: if they fail, they're dead.
Blood Brothers is a short story prequel to the Sovereign and Seekers series, which is available now to Patreon supporters.

Cara Mia
2025
A Solis Invicti prequel short story, available exclusively to subscribers to Josie's Readers' Club. Join here: www.josiejaffrey.com
What came before the Revelation?
The apocalypse starts like this: a dead girl with a silver handprint shimmering under her skin.
But for Cara Alton, that's where it ended, not where it started.
This is how the end of the world really began: with the boy next door, with cigarettes snuck, and a childhood romance epic enough to last a lifetime.
It starts with a kiss.

I have always written stories, but it wasn't until I started the first book in the Solis Invicti series in 2014 that I really became obsessed with writing. I love to read, particularly where the escapism of the story is enhanced with an element of fantasy or science fiction. For me, writing is simply an extension of that journey, but I get to decide what happens next (though it's amazing how often the characters seem to decide for themselves what I'm going to write!). I love to hear from readers, so please do get in touch through my website or via Twitter. Thank you for reading!
