Part of Series

The Stealth Civilization in Andromeda is now at war with the Civilization from the Triangulum Galaxy. Meanwhile, Humanity is preparing to eliminate the two aggressive Core Civilizations that destroyed New Melbourne and New Britannia. Mankind is also going to confront the Civilization in Triangulum and stop them from invading the Milky Way once the Stealth Civilization is defeated. The only thing that needs to happen for humanity's attacks to kick off is for the Triangulum Civilization to destroy the Stealth Civilization in Andromeda. However, just before humanity launches its attacks, Taffy Henricks voices a concern she has about possible dangers to humanity that might be lurking in Andromeda. Suddenly, the possible existence of a highly advanced, dangerous civilization in Andromeda that represents a real threat to humanity has captured the attention of mankind's leaders and all attack plans are called off. Before anything can be done, Andromeda must be scouted and the possibility of a threat in that giant galaxy eliminated. What they discover in Andromeda is more mind boggling than anything they suspected. However, the real threat to mankind is much closer than Andromeda.
