Humanity has moved out into the Milky Way and began colonizing the galaxy. After thousands of years, the colonized planets came together and united under one leader and the First Emperor was chosen. The Emperor decided that the alien civilizations represented a threat to humanity and he launched his fleets to go out and exterminate them. The First Empire grew and there were millions of planets inhabited by humans under his rule and for ten thousand years, the First Empire flourished and lived in peace. But the later Emperors imposed taxes and restrictions that ultimately led to a civil war and the First Empire fell to the rebels. But the war didn't stop there, it spread out into the galaxy and millions of planets were destroyed or blasted back into the Stone Age societies. The planets lucky enough to survive, attacked any civilization that approached them and that's where the galaxy remained for thousands of years. But one day, a new conqueror arose intent on reuniting the galaxy under one rule. This conqueror called himself the Warlord and he was worse than the original Emperors of the First Empire. But there was no surviving civilization powerful enough to stand up to his forces and his Empire was quickly growing. Over the next three hundred years, the Warlord's descendants conquered a third of the galaxy and it appeared inevitable it was only a matter of time until his vision of uniting the galaxy under his Empire was achieved. But...an alien arrived from a distant galaxy and changed the equation. However, to face the Warlord's huge fleets, a hidden planet had to be found. Historical records stated that the planet had been destroyed by the First Empire, but new evidence revealed it might still exist. The search for humanity's mystical home world began and finding Earth had to be done, and quickly.
