THE WINTER CABIN Iris Hayden couldn’t have picked a more fitting secluded cabin to stay at for the Christmas season than one that shared her last name, The Sweet Hayden Hideaway Rentals. At least that’s what she thought until she gets goosed by a large dog that’s owned by an even larger, sulking man in the cabin next door. All she wanted was a place to call home for a month, somewhere secluded where she could finally finish her suspense novel. Instead, she keeps ending up in awkward situations with the handsome neighbor. Lev Bartowski doesn’t apologize for the actions of his giant schnauzer, Norman, or for spying on his next-door neighbor. Why would he? She is the one talking to herself about murder, hiding bodies, and getting her car stuck in the snow. All he is trying to do is hideout at his mom’s rental cabin while he heals from a hockey injury. Instead, he heals in other ways this Christmas thanks to his meddling mother and his dog, who won’t leave Iris alone.
