Everything we find in the Bible—every book, every author, every literary genre—points us to God. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments tell one unified story about God’s love and purpose for humanity as well as His plan to rescue us. Over seven weeks, we’ll read thematic selections from every book of the Old Testament to see how they contribute to the greater narrative of Scripture, from the creation of the world to the establishment, captivity, and restoration of the nation of Israel. At the end of this study, you’ll have a framework for reading the Old Testament and a better understanding of its role in redemption history.
