Sometimes it feels like the seconds of your life are ticking away. And sometimes, someone tries to speed up the clock. Diner owner Angie Seaver doesn’t love the idea of being alone overnight, but when her parents go out of town to seek treatment for one of their sled dogs, she has no choice. When something goes bump in the night, it turns out to be a mysterious intruder. Angie confronts the intruder and he flees before she can make a positive identification. Police have no luck in finding him, and Angie tries to just go on with her life – which works until she begins to feel like someone is following her. When an anonymous threat comes in the mail, Angie realizes that it’s time to do some digging and get to the bottom of what’s going on. The amateur sleuth begins investigating and quickly finds herself wrapped up in a decades-old murder case. Will she live to solve the case? Or will time…tick away?
