Sometimes a rising tide… Can be murder. Amateur sleuth and dog trainer, Eve, is delighted to take some time off and go on a camping trip to secluded part of Lake Superior’s coastline. The trip that’s supposed to be a relaxing and fun adventure takes a dark turn when Eve’s Search and Rescue dog, Atlas, discovers a body on the beach. And that’s not the only surprise that they find. Cries for help lead them to a small shipwreck and a group of friends who are struggling against the tide and waves to get to shore. After they’re rescued, Eve realizes that the murder victim they discovered has ties to the people on the boat and their stories aren’t adding up. It’s up to Eve and her fellow campers to determine if someone on the boat killed the victim, or if the killer is from outside the group.
