Kehokauhu, body horror, on kauhun alagenreistä groteskeimpia.

Writer of pulpish horror, dystopian science fiction and fantasy stories. I like mixing elements of horror with other genres and I've created my own mythology and monsters. My academic background is in art history and I've specialized on 18th - 19th century arts and culture. History and art is one of my greatest inspirations as a horror writer. I've published my stories in anthologies with genres and settings varying from supernatural colonial horror to dystopian fiction and prehistorical barbarian warfare. Ideologically I like to be ambivalent and avoid preaching my quite old fashioned and traditionalist values. I aim to create an universe that is beautiful, frightening and darkly humorous. I'm grateful for every review, no matter how bad. I like them all and they inspire me to write better.
