He can't stand me, and everyone knows it. Money and power mean nothing to him, and that's all I have. I'm forcing him to help me anyway. When my sister gives me the gift of a fairy godmother wish, I’m tempted to throw it away. But then I come away from meeting a sassy fairy with a problem money can’t solve, and gift receipts suddenly make a lot more sense. With the clock ticking down to complete social ruin, I wind up blackmailing a manager from one of my clubs into being my personal assistant. If anyone can figure out a way to break this curse, it’s him. He’s got the education and drive to make it happen. It also doesn’t hurt that he might be the only person in town who isn’t terrified of me. The thing is, my temporary assistant makes me feel things. Inconvenient things. And while I’m feeling human for the first time in years, I’m pretty sure all he sees when he looks at me is a beast.
Author

Elizabeth Silver is a writer, a tarot reader, a Level Two Cat Lady, and an internet junkie. Her day job is terribly dull, her hobbies oddly specific and quirky, and her husband the most patient person a writer could ask for. A New Jersey native, Liz is a proud nerd and an awkward human being. She likes to think it makes her endearing. When not writing, Liz can be found collecting tarot cards, chasing Pokemon, fighting her way out of YouTube spirals, and/or performing online searches that will probably land her on a government list somewhere someday.
