Here, June tries to find the answers. Then, who is Mr. X, that mysterious man appears at the end of the novel? As peeking outside and peeping at the ones window, this novel tries to unfold the human life from many different sides.

Pintu (The Roof) is the continuation of Jendela-Jendela (The Windows). However, this novel can be read alone. Bowo, is the main character. A guy with a Javanese background, Bowo was born with the third eyes or sixth senses. This novels tells his story from the day he was born until the day he has out of this world experiences. Also, not forgetting is his relationships with several women that close to his heart, including his grandmother and his girlfriends.

Atap (The Roof), is the continuation of Jendela-Jendela (The Windows) and Pintu (The Door). The end of this trilogy tells an end story of June and Bowo, characters from the previous novels. Finally, June has found her man. The identity of the x-man, a misterious man that loves her is finally revealed. In the other hand, Bowo, his brother, has another adventorous journeys. He has sharpen his third eye. He, too, has found his true lover.

Fira Basuki (born June 7, 1972) is a well-known Indonesian novelist. Arguably her most famous work is her trilogy debut consisting of Jendela-Jendela (The Windows), Pintu (The Door) and Atap (The Roof). The trilogy concerning the journeys of Javanese brother and sister Bowo and June; from graduating high school, studying abroad in the US, their meta-physical experiences (especially Bowo's "second sight" and aura-reading capabilities), relationships with people of different nationalities (especially June's Tibetan husband), and their return home to Indonesia. Her novel, Brownies, was adapted to a movie which was nominated for Best Picture at the 2005 Indonesian Film Festival, eventually losing out to Gie (though Brownies did earn a Best Director Citra award for Hanung Bramantyo). She recently launched to widespread media acclaim a popular biography on media person Wimar Witoelar, her first work in non-fiction. Her latest novel, scheduled to be published July 2007, is entitled Astral Astria. As per August 2007, she works as Chief Editor at the Indonesian edition of Cosmopolitan Magazine.
