The girls are told they lack that unique movement to make them more united. When Hay Lin feels like she has no one to turn to now that her grandma is a prisoner in Kandrakar, she turns to her new friend Laura Steedson. Meanwhile, Dark Mother tricks Yan Lin into breaking her silence and is now plotting to lure WITCH into a trap.
