It's the best of times and the worst of times for Kate Stevens. Recently transplanted from the rocky shores of coastal Maine to the charming Western town of Sage Hills, Texas, Kate's career as a crochet designer and author is finally taking flight. At the same time, there are spooky nocturnal goings-on in the neighborhood she now calls home. Strange sounds at night emanating from the back yard of the house next door have put Kate on edge. The house has been vacant and for sale for months, but has something sinister taken up residence there? Then there is the problem with an online "friend" who has become antagonistic and begins a series of cyber-stalking attacks. Will Kate discover who the stalker is while he is still at arm's length? Or will the orbits of cyberspace and reality collide and threaten Kate's career, family and her very life?
