This series was created as a loving tribute to George MacDonald. Contains the original text first published in 1867. The first front end page contains a redesigned replica of MacDonald's own bookplate. On the back cover, debossed without color, is a replica of MacDonald's signature. At the end of the book in a photograph of George MacDonald, age 37, taken by Lewis Carroll in 1862.
