Together in one volume for the first time, these two novels by bestselling author Jane Feather are gripping tales of romance, passion, and intrigue in the 18th century. Vice is the tale of Juliana, a bride on the run after accidentally killing her elderly groom less than a week into their marriage. Who will ever believe the death was an accident? But Juliana's fate changes when she gets a shocking proposition from the dangerously handsome Duke of Redmayne... In Virtue, Judith Davenport and her brother make their living by conning gambling noblemen out of their money. But one strickingly attractive lord is on to their schemes and is ready to draw the bewitching Judith into a daring gamble of his own...where the stakes are nothing less than the lady's heart.
