One night, while standing on her deck, she sees a figure in the ocean that appears to be drowning. Rushing out to save him, she gets them both to shore but faints after glimpsing what appear to be a set of fangs on her “victim”. Turns out, Kale Ohana was not drowning at all. He had simply been night surfing and lost his board. After being drug onto shore by Victoria, he had smiled, totally forgetting that his fangs sometimes came out when he surfed. Returning the favor, Kale carries Victoria home and settles her on her couch. When she wakes up, Victoria doesn’t remember the fangs but does have a bit of a melt down about shedding salt water all over her pristine couch. It is only after Kale leaves that she realizes she had a total hottie in her home and worried more about the stupid couch. After giving herself time to think about what she wanted, Victoria pays a call on her midnight surfer. She may still be more than a little OCD, but she wants to have sex and decides that Kale is, for the moment at least, who she wants. What she discovers is a man who can ignite her libido in no time flat and also challenges her need for total control. She must decide if he is worth letting go of her rigid life and giving in to the desires that he has awakened within her. Oh, and then there is that whole vampire thing that Kale has going on.
