Vivian Lewis loves the exciting music and energetic dancing she finds at jazz clubs when she sneaks out at night, and she can hardly wait for the sun to go down each day. She doesn't realize, however, how her actions are impacting her father, his company, and her whole future. After coming face-to-face with reality, she must find a way to regain her father's trust, and applying for a job away from home for an extended period of time seems like a good start. Lane Sears takes his duties seriously, traveling by steamer several times a year to oversee the shipment and delivery of goods to his boss' warehouse. When he's asked to keep an eye on one special delivery, he takes that assignment seriously as well, knowing it will definitely be the most challenging job he's had yet. Can a carefree flapper and a career-oriented businessman find common ground somewhere in between all the things that keep them apart?
