Walter Matthew Gallichan (1861 – 27 November 1946) was a British writer and journalist. Walter Matthew Gallichan was born in St. Helier, Jersey, the son of John Gallichan, an antiques dealer, Gallichan made his name as a journalist, being one of the earliest members of the staff of the Daily Mail, and was later a pioneer in sex education in Britain. He died on 27 November 1946 in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. He was married to author Catherine Gasquoine Hartley.
