Everyone undersea knows to avoid the sea witches. Cruel and vindictive, they hate mermaids more than anything. While employed at the mermaids’ human company, all Calder simply wants is to do a good job and to possibly get a chance to work with handsome Sevan Triton. Instead, he accidentally puts himself into the crosshairs of the sea witches. Survival undersea requires magic and power, but even with Sevan’s help, Calder isn’t sure whether the price the sea will extract will be too much to pay.
