Safer then. They's slower, for one, and groups of em don't seem as coordinated in the dark. Rosco, he's a purebred Mountain Cur. He's real protective of Jody May—that's my wife—an Baby Mellie, who come a few weeks after the world went bad. He can sniff em thangs just bout a mile off, an I pick em off. Just got to keep the area clear, leave a better world for Baby Mellie to grow up in. "We Hunt at Night" is a short zombie horror story originally published in the Does the Dog Die? anthology.
