Jackson (Jack) Pittman is a Navy man through and through. “Love ’em and leave ’em” is his motto. He has his SEAL team, his friends, and spends his life hunting the bad guys. What more could he need? Lisa Worley has only herself. No husband to drag her down, no children to worry about, a career that she loves, and friends she can depend on. That’s the life she wanted. Her home is becoming too quiet at night with only the TV occasionally breaking the silence. The night Jack met Lisa they both discover something neither expected nor wanted. Now Jack has a beautiful woman in his arms at night to keep him warm. Someone to welcome him home when he returns from a mission. Sexy. Brave. Strong. Dependable. If he had to put in an order for an ideal woman, then she was it. The excitement of leaving on dangerous missions no longer appealed to him. It was time for him to slow down. Maybe the day had come to finally admit how much he needed her and wanted to make a life together. Between the harsh words, misunderstandings, and hurt feelings, Jackson and Lisa must decide if what lies between them is worth fighting for. The characters I write will not be perfect. None of us are. They will make mistakes. All of the hero's will have redeeming qualities, but on the outset, you may not be their biggest fan. My heroine's will be the kind of women you want to hang out with. They're the women next door, down the street and around the corner. They are the ladies you would want to spend time with on a Saturday night drinking a martini. I have been an avid reader of romance novels since the age of 14 and know what appeals to me as reader. My goal is, and will always be, to provide that same experience for the women and men who read my novellas and short stories. I’m a former Marine and served for 8 years, so strong military men will always be a favorite topic of mine. I will continue to write stories with military heroes’ front and center. I’m also a fan of Alpha-males and strong women who love with everything they have.
