It was an unexpected offer. When Simone Lacks, a broke college student first walked into his office to ask for a job, Ivan declined, saying she was too inexperienced for an assistant’s position. However, he has an alternative solution for her money problems. Could she carry his baby for him? She wouldn’t mind donating her egg and birthing for him an heir if he asked politely. But he is Ivan West wick. A sarcasm connoisseur and a condescending jerk who never passes up an opportunity to remind her that she is poor. It’s hate at first sight but as she keeps seeing him, she isn’t sure anymore. Falling for Ivan is a bad idea. Besides, it seems he is patching things up with his ex-fiancée. For her own sake and for the longevity of her own relationship, she has to detach herself. But its proving harder and harder to put this into practice as circumstances keep forcing them to be in the same room.
