A fanfic Sorcerer Royal Yuletide short story written by Zen Cho herself: "Yeah, I socked up and wrote a post-canon True Queen fanfic as a Yuletide Treat! I did it because I was procrastinating on my current WIP (cough) and also because the recipient's request and letter were so great and right up my street. She also said: "I've never particularly felt like writing fanfic of my own books so I was surprised to be inspired when I was idly checking Yuletide requests and saw scintilla10's letter. I did really enjoy writing this and found it interesting comparing the experience with what it was like writing, er, the canon."
