Sometimes love hurts and it could be a good thing and then sometimes love hurts like really hurts to the point I can’t breathe or move for that matter. I never thought love would hurt this bad but when your lover no longer loves you bad things happen. Domestic Violence is real and “love” shouldn’t blind you are being hurt. Take a ride through the lives of the woman who have been abused and accused of everything in the name of love. On average, nearly twenty people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than ten million women and men. One in three women and one in four men have been victims of some form of physical violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime. On a typical day, there are more than 20,000 phone calls placed to domestic violence hotlines nationwide. Some people make it out and live to tell their story. Others aren’t so fortunate and die at the hands of their abuser, leaving loved ones hurt and confused. For those who have been affected by relationship abuse, those who are currently in abusive relationships, and those who are working to heal, call the National Domestic Violence 1-800-799-7233

I was born and raised in Washington D, C. I’m a mother of one and grandmother to a beautiful little girl. I enjoy reading and writing, relaxing to music, but most of all I love spending time with my family. I worked in the child care field for many years and obtained the education needed to own my own childcare center. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I started writing books as a hobby. But the more I wrote, the more I started to think about becoming a publish author. My family and my friends believed in me and encouraged me to seek a publisher. It took a few more years before I decided to submit a manuscript but I’m so glad I did. I learned so much working with Treasured Publications and I’m more than grateful for the opportunity. The best part of being a published author is connecting with readers and getting their feedback. It only helps me to grow in my craft and I appreciate. My advice to anyone out there with a dream is to never give up and keep striving for success no matter how many people try to discourage you. And always remember through faith and prayer, all things are possible. Thank you for reading my book and getting to know me.
