10th grader Yugi spent most of his time alone playing games...until he solved the Millennium Puzzle, a mysterious Egyptian artifact! Possessed by the puzzle, Yugi becomes Yu-Gi-Oh, the King of Games, and challenges evildoers to the Shadow Games...weird games with high stakes and high risks! These graphic novels contain new stories not seen in the anime, including the origin of Yugi and his friends! Meet Seto Kaiba, master of the world's most dangerous collectible card game. When Kaiba discovers that Yugi's grandfather owns the incredibly rare "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" card, he will stop at nothing to get it...even if he has to duel with Yugi's dark alter-ego Yu-Gi-Oh! Then, an Egyptian museum exhibit brings with it an unwelcome Shadi, the mystical Keeper of the Millennium Items, whose bloodline has guarded the tombs of Egypt for 3,000 years. Recognizing Yu-Gi-Oh as his only rival, he puts him to the test to see who is the true King of Games...
