Part of Series

Being a celebrity is great... until you're not one anymore . Chieko Makiguchi went from TV star to nobody almost overnight, and the only way out of her bleak future is to marry the millionaire her parents have picked for her. On paper, it sounds like a great option, but Chieko's history of failed romances has left her ready to shut down all emotions, including love. Barth Jefferson's glory days on the football field are over, and now he has to redefine his purpose in life. His college degree has so far not landed him a job, and no matter how hard he flirts, he can't find true love. He's feeling so low, he might disappear between the cushions on Grammy MarLee's couch. An unexpected documentary project brings Chieko and Barth together for a few weeks, and amidst the hilarious antics and fun challenge of the work, they each have to find themselves before they can find love. With a supporting cast of beloved characters from the series thus far, this installment looks at race relations, lost celebrity, family traditions, and the unexpected turns love can take. It also takes the reader on a fascinating tour of some unique attractions for the curious and adventurous travelers in the Pacific Northwest. Check out the other books in the
