Amaya's Dance

2018

Candlelit dinners and ballroom dancing only work for lovers, not business partners. Amaya Jefferson is tired of romance. Every attempt ends the same the guy has another priority greater than her. Now that she is on the verge of breaking through to fame as member of an elite dance company, she needs to focus on her career and grab any (honorable) opportunity that comes her way to make some money. Frank Judd is doing everything he can to prove he's part of the cultured elite, but his job as a restaurant critic shows no promise of advancement, and he hates the way his boss micromanages his writing style. When he gets an assignment to review some of Portland's five-star establishments with dance floors, all he needs is a date who can waltz. Unfortunately, despite being tall, dark, and handsome, Frank manages to repel just about every woman he meets. When a mutual acquaintance suggests that Frank should hire Amaya as a dance partner, both are sure the match is a mess. He's stuffy. She's sassy. But somewhere between a hot tango and an iced dessert, hearts can melt.

Crawford bids on a romantic getaway using both their names, hoping to drive up the auction prices for her pet fundraiser. When they accidentally win, he gets much more than he ever imagined.
