Milar is a shepherd boy from a small village, who dreams of one day becoming a great warrior. His country is ruled by the greedy Queen Inis, who exploits her people through steep taxes. For years, she’s been hunting dragons and harvesting their souls for her own purposes. One day, the Queen’s emissary, Lord Grogan, pays a visit to Milar’s village to collect taxes, and soon, Milar’s life takes an unexpected turn.

Milar the shepherd is in serious trouble. Lord Grogan and his men have just abducted Milar’s family and all the people in his village, and now he’s left to his own devices. He decides to seek refuge on Mount Rolan, but even there, danger seems to follow him. Grogan is still searching for the black dragon, and soon, Milar will have to decide how far he’s willing to go to protect it.

Milar has boarded a ship bound for Slave Island, where he hopes to find and liberate his family. Joining him are his new allies, Andan and Kiman, who are rebels in the resistance against Queen Inis. Milar can hardly wait to be reunited with his family, but the island is crawling with the Queen’s soldiers, and the danger of getting caught is constant. From now on, they’ll have to watch their every step as they search the island for Milar’s family.

Milar er på vej mod dronning Inis' by sammen med Sirra, Tanni, Kidman og Andan. De skal finde det drageæg som Sirra er kommet for at hente. Hvis ægget ikke er i sikkerhed, vil hun ikke hjælpe dem. Rejsen er ikke uden farer, og snart må Milar kæmpe for at beskytte sig selv og sine venner.

After Sirra’s stunning revelation about herself, Milar’s travel party decided to split into two groups. Milar and Tanni have travelled on to Queen Inis’ city, where they hope to get access to the royal palace. Milar remembers his grandma’s stories and games, which she used to teach him about the palace layout. But he and Tanni will have to use every ounce of their strength and ingenuity to combat the many dangers that lurk within the palace walls.

Milar and Tanni have ventured deep into the heart of Queen Inis’ palace in hopes of finding Sirra’s egg, but so far, their efforts have all been for nothing. The long days of serving the palace inhabitants and the long nights of snooping in the palace halls are starting to take their toll on Milar and Tenna. But when Milar makes a startling discovery, they decide to act out a dangerous plan that sends them running to escape Queen Inis’ soldiers.
