Part of Series

I’d like to say there’s no place like home, but I don’t recognize Oz anymore. Emerald City Academy has become pointless. Daxar is missing and Glinda disappeared when we started questioning her as to his whereabouts. Galen is avoiding me, probably because it’s about high time he tells me about his parents. Professor Ixius has taken over as headmaster and my training, but he can’t seem to stay sober and he doesn’t know the first thing on how to teach me. Things go into a whirlwind when Galen finally drops the bomb about his parents. The pieces are starting to fit together. Maybe Glinda is not avoiding us. Maybe it’s a thousand times worse than that. We’ll have to mount a rescue mission if things are as dire as they seem to be. We are woefully outnumbered. The Oz army isn’t trained and only likes polishing their badges. The last time we were in the North, things went horribly wrong. We’re running low on good Sentinels at the moment. We have to take a chance Glinda is still one of the good ones and rescue her. The alternative means the Fisher King will rise again and terrorize Oz until it’s devoid of all magic Emerald City Academy is an adult reverse harem retelling of the Wizard of Oz and the books that followed with a snarky heroine who is not taking the Wicked Witch moniker lying down, monkey shifters, a hot Winkie, a dangerous Headmaster, and a mysterious green haired boy who may have all the answers.

USA Today Bestselling Author JB Trepagnier is a huge liar. She first started lying as a child when someone asked who colored on the walls. She later went on to major in art, so they really should have framed it instead of sending her to the principals office so many times. When she was fourteen, she wrote a very large lie into several notebooks, which later became her first book, Midnight's Sonata. Rather than dabbling in politics and possibly ending up in jail for lying when it counts or under oath, JB chooses to craft elaborate lies into word documents and use them for entertainment rather than harm because she is really batman, just without all the money to fight crime
