On the way, he plans to look for a treasure Nina's Father insists was on an island with a cross-shaped grove of palm trees. He sets out in his plane, The Blue Gull, with his pilot companion Tom Ralston, but when they disappear in the Indie's, Ted and his friend, Walter Hapworth set out to find them....
