Evil wreaks havoc within the walls of Burgess Castle, giving rise to a long chain of deaths, all terribly tragic and all equally unexplainable! One by one, the scholars kept prisoner in the ominous building by the raging blizzard fall under the blows, and the murderous hand seems to be that of Satan in person: a foe against whom even Zagor doesn’t seem able to put up a fight!
