April's Fool
2020
April –
The life of a librarian is rarely exciting. Shelve books. Check out books. Check books back in. Repeat daily…Except on Wednesdays.
On Wednesdays, Johnny, comes into the library and shamelessly flirts with me. It’s seriously the highlight of my week. Not that I’d ever admitted that to him. Yes, I’m crazy about him, but I just know we’d never work out in the real world. He’s an insanely hot fireman, his life is exciting and dangerous. I’m just a dull librarian.
I know he’ll get bored of me eventually, but for now, I’ll take what I can get.
Johnny –
Do you know those girls who are smart, pretty, and totally perfect but have no idea? That’s April. The first time I saw her, I knew I was going to marry her. Crazy, I know. But I’m impulsive like that. Unfortunately, she’s not.
Every Wednesday we go to her work. She doesn’t even realize it, but we’ve been dating once a week for months. She thinks I’m going to give up soon but I think I’m finally wearing her down.

June's Bug
2020
Who would have guessed a computer virus would change my life?
June –
I’m one of the most recognizable female entrepreneurs in the world, and I’m so lonely I could cry. It’s easy to blame my lack of a love life on how busy I am, after all, who would doubt that the CEO of a billion-dollar company doesn’t have time to date? But the truth is, I suck at my job and I suck at relationships.
Adam –
The first time I saw June, I knew she was the only woman for me. We were both seniors in college then, and she didn’t even know I existed. I used to watch her eat lunch every day in the Quad, just trying to pluck up the courage to talk to her. It never came.
Now, I’m working for her company as the head of IT, and I’m determined that I’ll win her over. Even if I have to take drastic steps to get her attention.

October's Knight
2020
October –
Stuck in an elevator with my crush on Halloween was not really in my top ten list of things to do on a holiday weekend. And yet, that was where I found myself: trapped with Declan McKay, two dead cell phones and a crush so big there was no way I would get through the evening without admitting my feelings for him.
Declan –
Honestly, I couldn’t have planned a better situation than a power outage in an elevator. I may be a bull in a boardroom, but I’m horribly shy when it comes to women. Especially October Spence. I’ve spent months trying to ‘accidentally’ bump into her, and now we were trapped in close quarters for who knew how long.
Hopefully long enough to pluck the courage to finally ask her out. Or…you know…ask her to marry me.

November's Reign
2020
November –
Being the Queen is not actually all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it’s a horrifically lonely gig. I’m surrounded by people constantly, and not one of them gives a damn about who I really am, or what I want.
Well, no one except Benson.
I doubt anyone would be surprised to learn I was having an affair with the stable boy. But the nation would be shocked if they ever found out I was falling in love with him.
Such things are just not done…especially by royalty.
Benson –
November Denali is my queen, and it is my duty to serve. I never meant to fall in love with her.
I was warned from the very beginning of our relationship that we would never be more than clandestine lovers, and I accepted that bargain. It had seemed worth it at the time, just for the opportunity to be near her.
But now, we both want more than we’re able to have together, and I don’t see how either of us will ever get out of this with our hearts intact.
